Being from New Mexico I was hoping for more authentic food. It was good but not what I expected. Also, I was hoping for fried ice cream to be disappointed to be served ice cream covered with cereal.
We had been here before and enjoyed it very much. This time it was as good as I remember. The enchiladas were as I remember and delicious.
Anita’s is a staple of Fairfax — authentic recipes prepared with mass market ingredients. It’s very tasty, super filling — not fancy at all but if you’re hungry for the Southwest you can definitely get plenty of more than decent tasting food here.
Enjoyed breakfast at the Fairfax Anita’s. Friendly service, fast kitchen, delicious food! Recommend you try it!
The intention is good however the food is too commercialized, no taste to it to the point you feel it is way overpriced. huge menu for no obvious reason.
