This is a great place to bring your loved ones as it has pretty soothing ambience. The only thing I would complaint about this place would be the price and the menu of limited entree. Otherwise this place really stands out in Fairfax with its courteous and understanding waiters who knew their manners. I would suggest you to try it out atleast once if you want to experience luxury dining in Fairfax. As per the food, I stand 50-50 as one out of the two dishes we ordered were abysmal and, however on the other hand, the other dish was outstandingly amazing. So I really cant decide if I just ordered the wrong dish that felt awful to my tastebuds or maybe it actually was awful.
Came here out on a whim since we were in the area. We were looking for some decent Italian food and stumbled upon this spot.We ordered the beet salad with goat cheese, the ragu fettuccine, and the seafood linguini. We asked for the beet salad to be split in which they did for us so that was nice of them. We werent particularly hungry since we were eating at around 5pm, but the ragu fettuccine was pretty good. The seafood linguini wasnt bad either, but if Im in the area and I drop by again, maybe Ill try a different dish. Oh and the beet salad… well I have really high standards after having an amazing one I had in Chicago (at the Girl and the Goat) last month so the memory of that alters my judgment. The beet salad wasnt bad as well but Ill probably try a different salad or appetizer. The restaurant is slightly more upscale as well as the prices but the price is justified. Service wasnt an issue since we were the only customers there.Would I drive 30 mins to come eat here? Probably not. Would I come here again? Only if were in the area craving Italian.

Visited for lunch on restaurant week and waswarmly welcomed by a senior server name was Enno. He made me feel like a treasured guest inItaly!! This is somewhere to bringsomeone for a special occasion. Manybeautiful items adorn the interior. Itis so warmly and welcoming with lovely music played in the background. Fresh bread and quality olive oil was offeredand my first course was Polenta covered in mild Italian sausage and drizzledwith a sauce made with tomatoes, basil and wine. Next was a glorious serving ofChicken Granchioli that was beautifully presented with plum tomatoes, crabmeat,fotina cheese and fresh herb. Last the meal was finished with a Dark ChocolateMouse with a touch of Frangelico. Firstclass treatment, first class food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of my all-time favorites!!!
Delicious Meal in a beautiful settting. My husband, son and I were walking around Old Town Fairfax and popping into some of the shops when we arrived at Bellissimo Restaurant.What a surprise find! Delicious food- try the homemade veal ravioli with beef medallions and the crabmeat ravioli w/ marinara. Delicious! We could hardly believe what a perfect evening it was! Love the murals on the walls!
