Good Indian. Grade: B-The food is good, with a decent variety of regional specialties. The chicken tikka appetizer revealed pleasant a depth of flavor that was enhanced by the grill. Chicken biriyani was served in an ample portion, although the lamb vidaloo was a little skimpy on meat (hot and tasty, though!). Not the best I’ve had, but the garlic naan was alright. Nothing made me set this as my permanent Indian restaurant but I would definitely be happy to eat here again.18 Jul, 2011Good but not the best. Grade: C+Bombay Bistro has been on my radar of places to try for awhile. It is good Indian food but not the best available. The interior was charming enough, but none of the lamp shades or other decor had been dusted in a very long time. On the day’s specials menu was a shrimp curry appetizer that was very good. My wife tried the chicken dosa, which had precious little meat inside. My lamb vindaloo was decent, but the portion was very small and contained only three or four chunks of lamb.Again, the food was good…but next time I’ll go up the street to Minerva.
Misleading Reviews Bad Food and Service. After reading all the good reviews I decided to check this place out. I don’t really write reviews but I feel like I needed to for this one. We order 2 chicken kabobs for my girlfriend and I. When our food came, there was a obvious difference in portion size, my girlfriend got almost half the chicken I got. The chicken was also not marinated and almost tasteless. I also ordered a coke and finished it before I even started my meal. I was not offered another refill until the check finally came, even though the waiters walked by many times with the water jug. There were maybe 2 other tables of customers and the waiters seemed to be ignoring us. The bill was $33, I put in $35 and they didn’t bother to give me my change. I was planning on adding a few dollars as tip but the manager didn’t bother giving me back the tab with the receipt/change. Reviews are extremely misleading, possibly written by their own employees. Do Not Waste Your Money Here. Bad Service, OK food.
Yes, Outstanding. This restaurant made clear to me that I’ve been eating terrible Indian food all this time. They have raised the bar for me.
Buffet was good. Enjoyed the lunch buffet, nice selection/variety, It is one of the better ways to try a new Indian restaurant. There were a few things which were very good and others I only tried once.
Fantastic as Always. Fantastic as always. Great service. The Tandouri chicken is always my favorite, especially the sauce. Mmmm. See you soon.
Cant remember the names. Not very appetizing.
