  No Way!. Wow! What a disappointment! Service was so slow, we asked for ice water with lemon – took forever and no lemon. When the server did finally take our order, other customers had come into the dining room. Well, those other customers, came, ordered, ate, and left and we were still waiting for our soup and sandwich! When it did finally come, the soup was barely warm, tepid…. the BLT? I ordered half a sandwich and soup but this was meager! A very small piece of rye bread, a dash of mayo but the worst was. Ready for this? There were 3 tiny spinach leaves that didn’t even cover the bread, a sliver thin slice of tomato and the slice wasn’t even the full circle, and bacon, oh, yes, I think there was a piece there. I was so disgusted, I got up and sought the kitchen – why would I wait for a server who had never materialized before? I was being treated to this meal by a friend and believe me, I told the staff, if this were different circumstances, I would have left. It was embarrassing how pathetic this so called BLT was – and tasteless, too! The soup was brought out by the hostess(?) very hot and she made excuses and apologies about our meal ticket being lost… OK, so wouldn’t our server get the hint when her customer’s food was MIA that she should check on what happened? Oh, I guess not because she was taking care of people seated outside… To their credit, thank you for not charging us for the meal, especially since I went home hungry and had to make lunch for myself. Would I go back? No, the prices were too high for the portion given….service was lousy, we were not allowed to sit where we had asked, and the food was terrible.
