  The best spot at Lee Hwy of city Fairfax serving fresh and tasty food specially the French toast and buttermilk pancakes. I’d like to stop here when hunger strikes and try out their cheese quesadilla. Though I would recommend adding more gluten free dishes. Because the rest of the dishes arent very tasty, too little salt and spices.

  Thank you for the Veterans Day Breakfast. Visited on Veteran’s Day and was treated to a full breakfast with pancakes that was wholesome and quite tasty. This meals was very much appreciated and offered to many of us service members by the generous of Denny restaurant chain. Again I found the restaurant clean, bright and well managed with the whole staff geared to serve you inexpensive items on an ever changing menu. Congratulations and thank you for your gratitude.02 Oct, 2011A real nice surprise. This Denny’s is a franchised store which owns about 5 other Denny’s in the WDC Area. It is there teaching restaurant. The staff was doing there dandiest to please the customers and the kitchen was turning out large portions of very taste meals. I hade the Spicy Cowboy skillet. My two sides were sauted Spinach and home fries which, both were done to perfection. The Spinach was fresh and just wilted (delicious). The potatoes were so nicely browned. It came with at least a 10 oz portion of ground sirloin covered in French fried onions. It was from the 8 dollar special menu which is a great deal and includes toasted garlic bread in addition to juice besides the coffee or soda. The restaurant is new and extremely clean especially for a place that is opened 24/7. I find the food has more vip then IHOP food. Unfortunately there are too few Denny’s around were I live. My next try will be one of their breakfast skillets. Again, if you are in the area, you should try this Denny’s. Oh, they cater to us Seniors with specially priced items right on their menue!

  I like America’s Diner. To me, Dennys is always striving to be better. My placemat tonight explained they have revamped their coffee, replacing the beans and all their machines to make it better. The coffee was good and on my admittedly infrequent visits they always seem to have new offerings. This time it was skillet meals, so I tried one.For my 3 course meal I started with seasonal fruit, mostly grapes tonight. I like grapes, nice and sweet, and a good start. For my entre I tried the Pot Roast Skillet. While it could have been seasoned better it was still good, and so hot when delivered I had to be careful not to burn myself. As I was finishing my skillet the dessert I had selected arrived, a Pancake Puppies Sundae. The puppies were deep fried dough balls made of pancake batter but tasted better than I expected, more like doughnuts than pancakes. Drizzled with chocolate syrup, the three dough balls were nestled around a scoop of ice cream with whipped cream. Tonight all three courses were under ten bucks, an excellent value for the cost. I was one of only a few customers on my late evening but before the bars close visit. Instead of a lack of motivation at a slow time, my server did an excellent job. The restaurant itself was in fine condition. I like Americas Diner.
