Great Food, Fun, and Atmosphere. My band, Welcome to Loco, and I, first came to Epicure Cafe sometime in early Spring for their Monday night open mic. Since, we’ve come to know Epicure Cafe — and Gus, the owner — as a fun atmosphere, with the most affordable (and best tasting) pizza around.First, as a musician, Epicure provides an intimate atmosphere to hear other great music, and try your own on a very attentive audience. We as a band are growing into our sound and trying it in different venues. This past July 4th, Gus gave us the opportunity for a few hours, and I have to admit, it was the best two hours of music we could’ve produced. Sometimes it can be difficult to duplicate the intimacy of a band’s practice space or living room, but we were relaxed the entire time. This is largely due to Epicure Cafe’s intimate environment. Epicure Cafe appreciates good music, art, and the men and women who produce both.Their service is excellent, regardless of reviews contrary to this statement. We are always treated like human beings, and not dollar figures. Their focus reminds me of some of the great lounges, coffee houses, and music clubs of times past where ideas are shared, great food can be bought at a reasonable price, and legends are born.I recommend Epicure Cafe for everyone — the college student looking for a place to unwind and study; the young couple out on their first date; the married couple looking for a place to escape; the family with small children and a place for great cuisine. Come alone, and meet everyone there.Don’t pass up on Epicure Cafe, musicians, non-musicians, and Regular Joes — There is little to none of the superficial materialistic drive underpinning most franchises and businesses in the Northern Virginia area. Come now!
Best Local Cafe. They have live music almost everyday, and even have a comedy night. The food is great and the service is awesome. I am so glad this cafe opened up in my area, there really isn’t another place like this one around.**try the philly cheesesteak!!
I adore this cozy little family-owned cafe. Amazing owners and woooonderful customer service. Open til 2am, hookah, and free wifi?!!! I’m there all the time. And the greek pizza is MAGNIFICENT!!!
Epicure is a wonderful oasis in the hustle and bustle of Fairfax City. Its straightforward menu offers Persian Favorites such as kookoo sabzi, delicious simple deserts, and the most amazing pizza in the area. There is truly no place like it. They boast a variety of wines, chill yet classy ambiance, several beers on tap, and unlimited mimosas for $10 on Sunday afternoons! Whether its live music, an open mic, or stand up comedy, every night there seems to be something exciting going on. Unlike many of the local hookah bars, Epicure has somehow managed to cater to young professionals more than highschoolers, and maintain a steady loyal clientele. Bottom line: if you’re looking for a delicious lunch, a fun evening out, or Sunday mimosas, Epicure is the place for you. Cheers!
Great local place for entertainment & food!. Love this place! If you live in VA and don’t want to travel all the way to DC for a night out this is the spot! It’s eclectic, funky and has great food at really good prices. I love that it’s so down to earth and has many local artists performing! It reminds me of a local cafe spot you’d find in Adams Morgan or the East Village in NYC.
A wonderful little cafe/restaurant. I went for live music and had some delicious food. They have really good beer (Bluemoon/#9). The staff are so friendly and welcoming which makes it a great place to hang out and use WiFi. It’s so easy to make new friends here. I can’t wait to go back and make more friends whilst having hookah. Highly recommended.
Went looking for Hunter Mill Deli and discovered Epicure Cafe at address listed. Their Philly cheesesteak sub was VERY good. The bun was as good as it gets in northern Virginia. Coffee was delicious.
