Great Little Mom and Pop shop. Located back side on the Lower Level of the Mosby building. Not easy to find if you come in the front door. Recommend you park in the rear for easy access. Nice older couple who just arrived from Berkeley where they turned over ownership of their very successful Juice Bar to their son. Deli has a Middle Eastern flare such as Kabob’s and humus on the menu. Open through the work week but currently closed on the weekend. Call ahead as they close at 6 PM for diner at this writing. I had the Sherman which consisted of Corned Beef, Pastrami, provolone cheese, Thousand Island dressing and coleslaw on rye for less than 8 bucks. Majid and his wife both told me that the favorite dish was the steak sandwich which did look good and huge as another customer had ordered one. I was given a roasted clove of garlic to sample which was not on the menu. It was DELICOUS as just a thank you for finding his restaurant. Lovely couple who seemed to be working alone. If you are in Fairfax Large area of outdoor seating away from the busy traffic on 236!! If you are in Fairfax City it is well worth a visit.
