I have eaten here 4 or 5 times and enjoyed every meal. The lobster risotto is wonderful and the chocolate polenta souffle is a wonderful end to a meal. The wait staff is attentive without being obnoxious. The quail was also very good. It will not be a cheap evening, but I have never felt that I did not get my money’s worth. Highly recommend this place.
Northern Italian cuisine in a quaint, comfortably elegant setting. Great dining for special occasions. Attention to detail in both service and presentation. It’s a can’t miss!

Humiliated!!!. I was asked to leave!!!!! There were plenty of tables available and there was nobody waiting for table. However, I and my collegue were asked to leave because they needed a table. I have never been asked that!!! We arrived there at 6PM had full course meal. The bill was $83.00. I tipped $16.00 and it was 7:30. After paying the bill, me and my collegue were still havinv conversation. After all, it was business dinner. We were perfect customers. However, we were approached by a watier to leave because they were in need of a table!!! I live and have a business in the City of Fairfax and frequently patron all the restaurants and have never been treated so rudely. I recommend Ballicimo down the street from Villa Mozart if you are looking for great Italian food with awesome athmosphere!!!
Finally some fine Italian dining in Northern Virginia! A+. We recently went there with another couple and the four of us loved our food . We started with the calamari salad, caprese, dumpling with mushrooms (forgot the name), and soup of the day then had the ravioli, penne with lobster, lamb, fish of the day. For dessert we shared the chocolate mousse and the semifreddo! WOW – the food was delicious, the service very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back and will recommend it. We are very happy Villa Mozart is in Fairfax, we have nothing like it in Northern Virginia! I will be returning next week for lunch – $!8 for three course lunch you can’t beat that!
Review of Villa Mozart. All in all I would say the restaurant is above average but slightly overpriced. On the positive side the service was impeccable, the appetizers (both mozarella di bufala and with prosiutto) were excellent and the ravioli dish was superb. The mixed seafood was a disappointment. The clams were gritty and the dish was not worth the price ($32). The house wine was average and the price of the bottle at over $30 was also not worth it. We chose the two desserts that took 15 minutes and 30 minutes to prepare to stretch out the evening and they did not disappoint.
Magical!!. The food is amazing! Fine Italian dining it is! Chef Andrea has done it again!
