The food was ok, nothing special. The service was horrible, the waitress was rude, and did not speak a word of English. She basically threw a fork on my plate while I was eating without even asking if I needed one.
If you like shellfish and want a taste of Vietnam, head for Sea Side Crab House in the Eden Center of Falls Church. You want to sit outside or in the covered outdoor pavillion. The things to order here are the crawfish or one of the steamed or boiled seafoods (we enjoyed the snails with ginger). Add beer, soft drinks or iced tea and settle back among the largely Vietnamese crowds who’ve come for a leisurely meal. Composed salads are very good, but not as iconic as the boiled or steamed seafood. The grilled oysters we tried were a little overcooked, so keep it simple. Service can be slow, but the whole point here is to slow down and enjoy.
