Located in a highly customized 1962 Leyland Double Decker bus, the unique thing about Johnny Monarchs menu is what is not being served. There is nothing fried, no commercial bags of chips or soft drinks. Its menu offers two distinct types of cuisine. One can be viewed as Gourmet Truck Driver fare and the other cuisine labeled as Fuel for Olympians. Many of these recipes are sourced from the US Olympic Training table menus, and will provide our customers dishes with the highest level of nutrition currently available locally. Other recipes are from a restaurant family that spams 6 generations. "The trick is to make the stuff that's really good for you, traditionally lousy on the palette, taste like something that's really bad for you." Johnny Monarchs will go to great lengths to satisfy both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.
