If you are impatient, hate waiting for a table or are looking for a quick meal this place is not for you. Like everyone around here, I love Galley so prepare to wait for 45 minutes to get a table at dinner time. However, the wait is well worth it. The food is great and the portions are so big you can get three meals out of a pasta dish and two out of just about everything else.
So Good!!!. Huevos Rancheros is the best breakfast! It is huge, I always make 2 meals out of it. And it’s cheap. The quality of ingredients on the entire menu is good. It’s so nice to support a local restaurant, especially when it doesn’t break the bank. It is not big, so expect to wait a little.

Saved by Otools. My husband and I were so excited when we has a fun none chain restaurant practically in our backyard . Plus lots of vegetarian choices . Until last Saturday, we were able to overlook the mediocre service and less than clean interior. But Saturday was the final straw! We invited guests for a late lunch. The place was not busy but our waitress was surly, nasty and rude from the onset. She slammed the water pitcher on the table, snapped at our guest when she asked a question about the beer selection. She took ten minutes to even get our drink order and then got it wrong. At that point, we decided to leave, drinks untouched. She yelled out that we were trying to leave without paying. My husband and our friends explained why we were leaving. The owner said he would talk to her but if you read other reviews the is a pervasive problem. Why be in the business if you don’t give a s*** about your customers. 5 minutes away Otools. Wonderful waiter, great service , generous tip …four happy patrons!
Rudest waitress in RVA. I cant even put her attitude into words. So rude we walked out before ordering. Not even sure what the food is like, but we will never return to try because of her.

Great atmosphere but food lacked taste. I love the location but needs better food! I had the curry chicken with a client and it was horrible. The fries were awesome though!
