Excellent. This was our first time. Went for Sunday brunch and to enjoy some old time music. We had a great time. The food is outstanding and the prices are good. Great atmosphere and great cause. We may end up making this a Sunday habit.
Great Food and a Great Cause!. I don’t know why it took so long for the family to visit the Positive Vibe cafe, but we will definitely return now that we have experienced it! The cafe hires and trains mentally and physically disabled in the area to work in food service jobs. We all had excellent food, including a giant burger, great sandwiches and sides, awesome crab and corn chowder and fresh and fun lemon-limeade and orangeade drinks. The dining room is in the building of an old bank, and they have maintained the vault room as a special dining area (hope they don’t close the door on those poor people!). We will definitely return, great food, great atmosphere and a great cause.
Worth a Try!. Great place for a delightful lunch or dinner at a reasonable price offered in a clean, well lit, remodeled upbeat environment. I had bowl of fresh Gazpacho soup with lots of chunky cucumber and also had one of the Special for the day which was the Bison BBQ Burger (finely chopped), tangy sauce and creamy potato salad. A nice slice of red onion, not white, was provided with the burger. The dessert was a Brownie a la mode which smoothly slid down my throat. Cloth napkins and white chine adorned my spacious table. It has a well trained and very professional staff that attended to my needs without my even needing to ask. Overall it is a great environment for business (quiet), individuals, couples and a place for families.
Very Positive, indeed!. Positive Vibe Caf was a wonderful little find. We were very pleasantly surprised with our experience there. The staff was friendly and the menu was extensive. We went there for dinner but can’t wait to try their brunch. For starters, we had the fried oysters which were excellent! They weren’t overly breaded and tasted very fresh. I had the flat iron steak special and asked for it Medium Rare Plus and it came out PERFECT. My husband had the lump crab and corn cakes which will just melt in your mouth. We are definitely happy we found this place. Not to mention that this restaurant is for a good cause. I highly suggest you give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.
Great food for a great cause. If you read what the place is all about you’ll go back just to support their cause. They are a non-profit organization that trains people with disabilities in the food services field.But what’s most important in a restaurant is the food, right? Well it was really good. My wife and I both ordered the bison chili with corn bread and it hit the spot. Not spicy at all so those who expect it should request the hot sauce. The house salad was enough for two and we were glad that we got only one to share.The wait staff was attentive almost to a fault. We were asked if we needed anything a few too many times. However all and all it was a very nice dining experience.
Excellent food, classy atmosphere, WOW!. I just went to Positive Vibes for the first time and it was AMAZING!!!! I had heard about the concept awhile ago, but as I live in Colorado, had never made it in. I went in with a group of friends and we all loved the food. It is really delicious! I had field green with salmon and goat cheese. Everything was perfect and tasted great. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the service is excellent. The decor is stylish and modern. Very impressive. Great place for lunch or dinner.I am so happy I found this place. I am definitely going back every time I am in town.
Good food, good cause. You wouldn’t think that a place tucked into a sort of rundown strip mall would really step it up as far as food goes, but Positive Vibe is a pleasant surprise. They use fresh local (and often organic) ingredients but their prices are fairly reasonable. They also have a great program that trains disabled individuals for food service careers–most of the staff are volunteers. I come for the excellent bison chili and their cornbread with honey butter–comfort food at its finest.
