Food generally fine but have had stale croissants before. Also can be slow and they make you sign a receipt when using a CC, even if it’s just coffee. Hardly anyone makes you do this anymore.

Great place, good coffee, great pastries and treats. I highly recommend. The staff is very nice and helpful plus there is a really cute short redhead that brings out your to go orders. I’m superficial, sue me.

Cupcake? Yummie!. Ther sandwiches and breads are good but there cupcakes have to be the best in DC area, forget Georgetown cupcakerey, for get redvelvet, and forget cake love especially the one down the street in Shirlington. These are the best I have ever tasted and they have REAL Frosting, no fondant. Oh and did I say they are BIG and CHEAP! I refuse to pay nay more then $5 for cupcake and the ones here run $4.00 some times less… I have no clue why the price gets lower some times. any way if your in Shirlington and there open hit up best buns fr desert.
