We stuck with simple appetizers and margaritas so I can’t speak for the main dishes but the apps were a win. Ceviche was fresh and super lime-y. The shrimp with buttery wine sauce was irresistible with bread soaking it up. The margaritas weren’t the best I’ve had but they were decent and I didn’t notice as much how overly sweet they were as I gobbled up chunky guacamole. I wish I could go back now for a main dish!

The whole shirlington area is great for anyone vacationing around DC – it’s easy to get to and there is a wide variety of places to eat. My family of 6 decided to eat at Guapo’s one evening. We all were pleased with our meals. They tasted great and the servers were very attentive and helpful.
