Get there early if you want breakfast.. While driving back from DC it was late morning and we decided we wanted to stop off somewhere and get breakfast. We pulled off on the Plank Rd. exit in Fredericksburg and this place caught our eye so we decided to give it a try.Upon entering it’s very similar to say a Golden Corral but with a little different twist on that concept. There’s a buffet of sorts, but it’s all side dishes and deserts. We sat down at our table and a waitress came over and let us know that breakfast was unfortunately over, however lunch was being served. I selected fish and chips off the menu and my friend grabbed the chicken fried steak. Our waitress disappeared after that for quite a while.So the way this concept works is after you order an entree you can hit the buffet and have anything else you want. Game on! I loaded a plate up with Green Beans, Mac & Cheese and some baked beans. I held off after that as I wanted to be able to finish my entree. The piece of fish was huge and the fries were fresh cut. It was a good meal over all and while on the slow side the servers were super friendly. I can see myself visiting here again either before or after our canoe trip on the Rappahanock next spring.
