Impromptu decision to walk in here with a large party. It was awesome. The server recommend the braised short ribs for an appetizer and they were tender and flavorful. My daughter ordered the duck breast. It was absolutely amazing. I got the Weiss sausage and most of the guys got various sausage and meat plates. All the meals come with two of their authentic German sides. The only one we weren’t fans of was the potato dumplings. Just too bland. But everything else was spot on!

Great authentic German food. The weisswurst melted in your mouth the potatoe salad was fantastic almost as good as my wife’s! Stop in try it! It’s worth it.

Great food and atmosphere. I really enjoy this place. My favorite is the schnitzel. Try their desserts. Always freshly made and excellent. Great biergarten out back. Try it out and you will have a great time!

Great Biergarten. I tried this place this weekend and found the food to be wonderful, I am from Germany and the food was just like home. The Biergarten was quite and pleasant , I would recommend ordering the Schnitzel and the Tomato soup. The owners are trying to keep this place as authentic as possible and I feel they are doing a wonderful job.

Great new option for German in Fredericksburg. I am not a fan of most German sauerkraut because its to Americanized, but this was authentic and matched what I had in Germany. I hope to head back for dinner to get a full meal and try out some of the specialties. A note for vegetarians, my wife had the veggiewurst and loved it. The chef also mentioned a vegetarian schnitzel.
