First, service was superb. Jessica took great care of us and Aiden our hydrologist (you know, the person who keeps filling your water glass) was always attentive. Loved the atmosphere as well, I think this place has a great future.On to the food: had the soup of the day, a cordon bleu gnocchi. It was good the gnocchi was fluffy and excellent but a couple of elements were off, mainly the peas. The salad dressings, house and Caesar are made there and are excellent score high for that. It is a steakhouse and their thing is the seasoned crust. We went with the light and while it was tasty we both thought it muddled the flavor of the meat which was excellent. So if you like the seasoned crust go for it, next time we will go without to really try the flavor of the meat. I added the mushroom cap in mine as well and that was really a good call, it was delicious. Overall this is another high quality restaurant in Fredericksburg with a lot of talent and potential. We look forward to good night back and seeing what they can do!
Definitely worth the trip. My wife had the Filet Mignon and it was very tender. I had the pork chop w/spiced apple reduction and it was wonderful. There were minor inconsistencies, such as not removing all of excess place servings (set for four, but we were two). Our server was very attentive.
