Probably not the best hibachi but the staff is great, the atmosphere is very family friendly. It’s a definite go-to place for birthdays and just want to hang with friends. Bonus… they have Orion beer from Okinawa! Good stuff, like it.
Great Food, Great People!. I recently moved from Philadelphia it was hard for me to find a good hibachi restaurant. I grew up in one basically since my father was a sushi chef in a hibachi. Moving to Fredericksburg I had to find new restaurants that has not only great food but a great staff. Fujiya house’s food is amazing, just the right amount of seasoning. The chefs put on a great show and the servers are very attentive. Even the owner comes out and talks to everyone. She is such a nice lady. This is definitely a place for a party, family outing, date night, or even just going for lunch. You always get nothing but the best!
Fantastic experience, quality food. This place is hands down the best place to go to. The atmosphere is very modern, friendly, and clean. The service is spot on and they definitely go the extra mile to make any occasion special. The sushi is very fresh and they have several creative and new rolls I have never seen anywhere else. The hibachi is also a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price for the quality of food. The owner Linda is very bubbly and has made sure to take good care of me every time I come. If you haven’t been here you definitely need to check it out.
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST JAPANESE FOOD IN THE BURG!!!. DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS! Excellent Friendly service, great atmosphere, and delicious food! Be warned if your going on a weekend you might have to wait to be seated if you come later in the evening. Best place in town for Hibachi and entertaining too! The salad dressing is delicious and the soup is good too (included with the meal). We happen to love the Ahi tuna, shrimp, chicken and filet. We have had the Bento boxes too – Bing bang chicken Bento, Filet Bento and the Chicken teriyaki Bento and enjoyed them all. They also have take out (which is odd for a Japanese restaurant), but a definite plus when you don’t feel like being out. We love the people and the food and we go at least 3 times a month. Do take advantage of their specials and coupons on their website and other sites. Its worth the trip! OH and the chefs do listen, so if you have any dietary requirements they will accommodate. We always say no mushrooms (due to allergies), no pepper and low sodium soy sauce please.
