Best Homestyle Pizza in the Burg!! Freshest Ingredients! Feels like you are eating in momma’s kitchen, if she made the delicious pizza! The crust is flaky and light and buttery….and the sauce is sweet! This is a very low key place…and they serve pitchers of beer!! Its a hidden gem that locals have been coming to for years.
I have been going to George’s pizza ever since I was a toddler and George still owned the place. The quality of the pie is average and the service is great but it takes forever to get your pie. We were 3 people of 5 total one evening and we waited 45 minutes for our pie. I would under stand that amount of time if the place was full, but not when it was empty. The great thing about Georges is that the interior design has not changed for the past 20 years or maybe even longer. I will go back maybe occasionally as a memory visit but not consistantly.
