Wonderful after all these years. We lived in Va for several years and I actually worked here for a couple of years. This is a family owned business and the owners care deeply about there service, food quality and customers enjoyment. You will never ever please everyone, but I do know if you as one of their guest were unsatisfied they will do what ever is needed to make it right.. That being said on our last visit to the area we stopped in for dinner.. It was a perfect delight.. I have tried to find other restaurants that serve similar items and have yet to come close.. They make your food fresh.. So if you need a special menu let your server know!! Best wishes to the owners and we can’t wait to return!!

Olde town consistently delicious. Went to olde town for the first time back in January. Since then we have been there probably fifteen times. Me and my wife absolutely love it. I always get the broiled seafood platter and it is consistently amazing. My wife always gets the chicken olde Towne. I can’t figure out how he prepares it but it’s the best chicken breast I’ve ever tried! The prices are a little on the high side but you will definitely not leave hungry as the portions are huge. Can’t wait to go back.

I’m mystified as to the negative reviews. My husband and I go to Olde Towne once a month and have never had a bad meal, exactly the opposite. Yes it’s not cheap, and maybe people are expecting to be spoon fed? This is an excellent restaurant. Be prepared to drop $200 bucks min for 2, including a couple of drinks. The prime rib is always fantastic and the filet and lobster in garlic butter can’t be beat. As for the person who claimed they use bottled dressing, totally false. And for that matter we’ve always gotten good sized, beautiful salads. If you want to treat yourself give this place a try, we have never been disappointed!

Save yourself the disappointment and the cash! Was hoping for a romantic dinner, being our 10 year wedding anniversary. My husband made reservations. We were very impressed with the atmosphere…till our food came. We were severely disappointed. $13 for oyster appetizer $43 dollars for the steak and lobster plate and $32 for the 14 oz prime rib. Lets start with the salad, there must have been a 1/4 cup of hidden valley ranch (from the bottle) dressing DUMPED in the middle of each of our mole hill sized portion of a spring mix lettuce. It was disgusting and I couldn’t bring myself to eat it. I HATE bottled dressing! I didn’t complain because I wanted to have an enjoyable anniversary night. Out came the food. Presentation, none. They were slapped down in front of us, as if we were at the Waffle House and Flo, on house arrest was our waitress. The grease from the meat was splattered on my silk blouse…. Again no comment, gritted teeth & smile. It’s our special night. The portion of the prime rib was more than I anticipated (even after the waitress assured me it was not as big as I thought it would be, so I ordered). It was on a small serving plate and with every knife stroke juices spilled onto the table looking as if an animal was slaughtered there in the spot! The steak was ok, it’s hard to mess with steak. The lobster was tough (over cooked). We didn’t order drinks because the whole experience from being seated to eating, was like having a janitor escort you to your table at McD’s. and to be honest, I didn’t want to spend 12-15 bucks on a crummy wine or poorly mixed drink. They were kind enough to bring us a piece of chocolate mousse with strawberries after asking what we were celebrating. The worst part about it was the dessert was delicious! How is it that you spend a $150.00 on a shoddy meal and the most delicious/best part of the experience/dinner was the FREE part?!?!? I do not feel guilty writing this review because I am a casual diner. I don’t expect you to refill my drink with every sip or check on me constantly. It was just bad food and mediocre service for such an expensive outing.

HORRIBLE!!!. Please Do Not Go To Eat At This Restaurant! I Went Here And It Was A Horrible Experience. While Sitting At My Table I Could Hear Someone In The Kitchen Yelling, Screaming And Cussing At Someone. The Language Was Unbelievable And Could Not Believe What I Was Hearing. I Am Not Sure Who It Was But It Is Not Somethng Anyone Who Is Out To Eat Wants To Hear. I Felt Sorry For The Employees Who Work There. You Can Go To MCDonalds And Have A Better Experience. No Respect For Employees or For Their Patrons.
