Pizza. I started going there 20 years ago and I can’t think of a time that I had to send a bad pizza. They are always extremely good and you can’t ask for a wonderful family of 4.

Traveling from Florida to DC we happened upon the Parthenon. Absolutely amazing food!!!! Quaint family restaurant with nothing chain about it. If your traveling Highway 1 around Fredericksburg I highly recommend. Try the Irene Special or the veal parmesan.

I have been going here for 20 years and love it. Support the Parthenon as it is a unique setting, value priced food and great service. I love going there

Truly outstanding fries. My wife found this place through a friend and I am grateful to that friend. We went to Parthenon for my first time on a Friday night. It is out of the way, small, and homey. It is a Greek restaurant and one of the best I have been to in the US. It is also family owned and run and the owners wait on tables themselves as well as visit the patrons to check on them.We started with an appetizer of pita bread with taziki sauce and it was very good. We could have used more pita, but I made use of the rest of the remaining taziki later. My wife had the night’s special of meatballs in sauce and they were very good meatballs, about the size of golf balls and more numerous that she could eat, in a very good tomato sauce.I had the suvlaki platter and the suvlaki, pita, and vegetables were all good, but the best thing were the french fires. They must have been cooked the way all fries should be done, but rarely are – twice fried. They were all crispy on the outside and soft and luscious on the inside. We’ll be back to this place soon.
