Best Pizza in Fredericksburg. Since we discovered Primavera three years ago, my family has been regular customers. We go there weekly and love their buy one, get one pizza deal! Though they have a small eating area, we have still been able to have large family dinners there. The wait staff is fabulous; eager to serve and the food is always brought out promptly. You are definitely getting your money’s worth with the portion sizes! If you are ever in Fredericksburg, Primavera is a must stop restaurant.
Been 3 times and the food and service were outstanding! The spaghetti and chicken pasta plates were huge. Pizza is always good and not greasy like Castilliga’s.
Consistantly Good!. I have eaten here for the past few years while attending UMW. Everything that I have tried at this little restaurant has always left me full and happy. My favorites include the Chicken Pesto Pasta, Spinach Garlic and Feta pizza, the Chicken Souvlaki Sandwhich (or the Gyro for that matter), the Fried Calamari (which is not on the menu but if you request it they will give it to you) and the Rosemary Chicken Panini. I have come here by myself, on dates, and with big groups of people and have never been disappointed with the food or service. They don’t serve alcohol, which can sometimes be a problem for me or my group (there are just some nights where you want wine with your spaghetti, there is no getting around that! So we go to Castiglia’s as our second choice–not as good though). Regardless of this, go and try Primavera! They are in my opinion the best Italian restaurant in the Fredericksburg area!
Excellent food, awesome customer service. Also if you order a med or lrg pizza you get one free. We got ours to go.
Pretty good!. The food here is pretty good. I haven’t had any complaints yet about this place. The subs and pizza are pretty good. The buffalo wings are absolutely really good. That’s what I tend to order a lot. Overall, it’s pretty good and worth trying.
The food is awesome, and the service is prompt and friendly. The pizza is definitely their specialty, but their entrees are great too. I would say that this restaurant had become one of my favorites!
Consistently Good Food. Over a dozen meals during the last sixteen months, Primavera Pizzeria and Grill has proven to be a consistent quality with pleasant staff with an active, cheerful manager. The food is well prepared, and a few seasonal standouts are on the menu. The eggplant parm contains eggplant from the owner’s garden, and it is prepared lovingly. On three separate trips, the vegetable was well breaded, held just enough texture to straddle the line between soggy and uncooked, and was presented well with pasta and sauce.Their subs are nicely put together, with the steak and cheese sub a perennial favorite. Pizzas are given great attention, and while I’ve never had one from Primavera, my dining partners often do and always leave with both a smile and food left over.Pricing is good, neither generous nor exorbitant. They do take credit cards. The restaurant itself straddles the UMW/Caroline St. gulf pretty well, but the location makes it a standout because parking is always readily available. Rather than drive around the block six times to look for parking, it’s a simple process to park right outside the restaurant and enjoy a good, quick meal.
