Small restaurant in downtown Fredericksburg. Very tight inside as it is a narrow building. The service was efficient but not very friendly. I had a Pescado taco and a Carnita taco. The Pescado taco was very tasty. The Carnita was way too salty. I couldn’t finish it. My spouse had the special which was a chicken and cheese papusa which he thoroughly enjoyed. The refried beans, were again, very salty. We spent $30 for lunch which is a bit pricey. The bathrooms and building in general were dirty and off putting. Due to the lack of cleanliness and overly salted food, I would not return.

Terrible place! food has a coin on it….. I usually don’t leave reviews but this place deserves a NO! do not spend your money or time in this place. IT was disgusting! I have never had such a bad experience in a restaurant. Can you guys believe I got nachos cooked with a coin on it.! yes it had a coin and luckily my brother saw it before he put it in his mouth. Just think about how many people touched that coin!!!!!! Manager was very rude, instead of apologizing she said It was us who put the coin in the food. I couldn’t believe she was actually saying that. she never apologized but kept blaming this on us. How can this person be the Manager? If that’s the Manager no wonder why there’s coins in the food. PEOPLE PLEASE WATCH OUT IN THIS PLACE CAUSE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE PUTTING IN YOUR FOOD. I Am spanish and I am married with an American and me and my husband love spanish food but THIS IS NOT THE RESTAURANT TO GO TO. If you want my recommendation for a good spanish restaurant the best in town is Pupuseria Ana! I have been to many spanish restaurants and like I said you will be very disappointed at this place. I am taking the time to leave this review so people won’t have to go through this, believe me it was very upsetting.
Owner is a jerk and very rude. Got a take out super nacho, very small and chips were soggy as all get out. Tiny proportion for $10, which the jerk of an owner didn’t mention would be extra to have half chicken and half beef. Not was it on menu!14 Jul, 2013Owner is a jerk!
Typical Mexican and bottom of chips were soggy and sitting in grease. After rave word of mouth, severely disappointed.
Delish. Wonderful chicken tortilla soup, yummy ropa vieja (one of my favorites which is hard to find anywhere else), decent salsa and tamales. One of our favorites for a quick bite.
