Best Indian food in the U.S.. We stopped here on the way to Washington DC. The food was incredible. We had Veggie Platter App and everything on there was super fresh and very tasty. They had a mint sauce and a tamarind sauce that complemented the appetizers very well. Our entree was Muttar Paneer and we loved it!!!! It was so creamy and nice. For breads, we had nann which was very good along with something we had never had called Gobi Paratha, which was excellent as well. Needless to say we had a wonderful meal.

My husband and I were in Fredericksburg for work and decided to try Taj. We were both blown away at how outstanding the food was. Delicious flavors!! If you go be sure to try their homemade pistachio ice cream, literally to die for. Staff is very friendly too. If we lived here Taj would certainly be one of our favorite restaurants.
I’m a foody. I look and search for Indian restaurants and I am Indian myself. Hands down the best Indian food ever tried in a restaurant. Prices are reasonable. Staff goes above and beyond to take care and is nice.
Federicksburg has lacked for good Indian food- until now. The lunch buffet was delicious. Friendly service.
I have lived in Fredericksburg for 3 years and have yet to find good Indian food until I found this place. Food is great and the staff is very friendly!
