Tito’s last visit. My wife and I went there once and asked for a table for two. We were looking into the restaurant at an empty table for four but the woman told us there were no seats available. When I asked about the empty table I was looking at she replied that it was not available for two and we would have to wait. There was no one else in line at the time. My wife and I will not go back to Tito’s again.
Will not be going back.. It was our first and last time going to Titos and I don’t feel like our visit deserved a second chance. We sat at a table behind where I’m guessing our waitresses family were sitting because we noted how they left with a free meal (5 people) and we only got one drink (the first one brought to our table) the entire visit and different waitress had to bring our food out because our waitress was very busy spending time at the table behind us to hear the bell ring 5 minutes earlier alarming our food was ready to be taken from the kitchen. My mouth is still sore from eating the $10 order of frozen junk over deep fried chicken tenders yesterday at this place. My husbands burger was decent he said but not for almost $12 for the quality of beef (he managed a hamburger joint and knows a lot about them and was unhappy with quality). The kids behind us were literally jumping out of the booth and touching my husband and almost climbed over my husband twice with tons of screaming and yelling. We left thirsty, angry, ignored, unhappy taste buds, and with a headache. We go out to eat 3-4 times a week and love restaurant intimate experiences and this place has to be in my top 3 most worst dining experiences we ever had. 🙁 We really wanted to love the place because of the diner feel but how much were we supposed to be spit on by our experience seriously lol.
Doesn’t add up. The price suggests something more than the typical greasy spoon… fresh ingredients, creative menu? Nope… just an over marketed, average greasy spoon. Good breakfast in this town is best found at home… we need a place like the Black Sheep in Richmond. It’s so good we make excuses to go to Richmond once a month just to eat there.
Mixed Feelings…. I used to go to this restaurant all the time. It was reasonably priced and I liked their food. Then they started nickel and diming me, which I dont like. If I ordered something and wanted a little extra gravy, they would charge me a dollar for a tiny little salad dressing recepticle. Recently they raised their prices by 25%.
I had the Chicken-Apple Curry soup recently. It is wonderful. Very mild curry makes it savory, but not too spicy. GREAT COMFORT FOOD!28 Oct, 2012Very good falafel! The homemade tomato soup was also good and the carrot cake was decadent.
Best German Chocolate cake I’ve ever had.
The breakfest is great. Lunch choices are fabulous, my husband gets the falafel sandwich, I get the steak and cheese. We are both happy .
