Just plain poor performance. Wife and I walked in about noon; there were maybe two other customers seated eating. We stood at the counter for close to five minutes waiting patiently to even be acknowledged as the counter attendant took an order over the phone while the other three employees working behind the counter, presumably in the kitchen, did something else. When we were finally acknowledged, the counter attendant, to his credit, politely told us he would be right with us and walked away leaving us watching the employees in the back continue doing everything but offer to help us. The attendant finally returned about two minutes later. He took my wife’s order with no issues. She left to go to the restroom. Then he took my order for a hotdog with potato salad and onion rings; they were out of potato salad…and collard greens…and the Mac and cheese was cooking. I settled for cole slaw. Incredible that you can be out of side and making others at noon on a Saturday…and you aren’t even busy. Then the polite young man told my wife they were making unsweetened tea which she waited for and finally got ten minutes later when he realized the tea had been behind the counter all along. A bad day for these guys…hope it isn’t always this way. We will not be back.
