Best Strip Mall Chinese Food. It seems like every strip mall in every state has a Chinese restaurant. Some of them can be pretty awful. That is not the case here. China East in the Piedmont Center Plaza is one of the best I’ve had. It has the same food as the rest but better. The chicken is never chewy or overcooked. The Roast Pork Fried Rice is always great and flavorful, not dull and boring like most places. China East consistently puts out good food. On the Negative: Only eat take-out, because the dinning room is very depressing. And the egg rolls are OK; Not bad, but definitely not great. I definitely recommend China East when your in the mood for strip mall Chinese food.
