Love this place! I don’t live in the area, but have family that does, so every time we visit we try to eat here. I’ve eaten here 6-8 times over the past 8-10 years and it never has failed me. Family run & locally owned. Great service and most importantly DELICIOUS! The margaritas are fantastic as is the salsa and table side guacamole. Last night we had fajitas (steak, chicken and shrimp combo with both flour and corn tortillas), steak quesadillas (the steak is marinated and so yummy), Bistek con Camarones (grilled flank steak topped with grilled shrimp and an AMAZINGLY sauce) which came with a side salad, white rice and black beans, and fried ice cream (kids loved this of course!) in the past I’ve had the Mariscada which is a saffron based seafood soup – don’t let the price scare you…this soup is with every penny! This restaurant is not a straight Tex-mex place..it is Tex-mex and El Salvadorian, which is where the owners are from. Many dishes come with fried plantains, black beans (not refried), and white rice (not Spanish). Many locals eat here and every time I’ve been here it is busy. My family that lives here eat here quite often. So don’t let the previous nay-sayers/negative reviews scare you. This place is legit & know what they are doing.
