Don’t order takeout!. Bad service even makes the food taste not so great. I went in for a take out order. I placed my order after looking at the menu online. No where did I see a specific menu for take out so I assumed it was all one in the same. As I arrived to pick up my order, there was no soup. When I asked about this I was told it was an extra $1.50 for take out orders. I pointed out in the menu that it says it is included. I was told that was a restaurant menu and not a take out menu. I asked for a restaurant menu and the person reached and grabbed a paper menu and sure enough it said the same thing. I was then told that was an old menu and they have no new take out menus. I then asked If the cost was the same since soup was not included and I was told yes. So basically you are penalized for being a take out customer. Good thing there are lots of other Japanese restaurants near me. I went to Osaka because I had been before as an eat in customer, but this is my last visit. I will take my visit where it is better appreciated.

I generally don’t have high standards of american Japanese restaurants, but this place is well below those standards. Please be careful when dining out or in with Osaka!
