Great selection of Italian wines. The food was above average but the Italian wine list was extensive with alot of great selections. And the owner is always willing to stop by your table and make recommendations based on his extensive travel to Italy.
Real Italian Food. I lived in Italy for a bit and Entoteca Sogno is the absolute best Italian Restaurant in Richmond. They have fabulous specials, a great wine list, and WONDERFUL pasta (as any good Italian restaurant should!) This is on my top 3 favorite places to eat in Richmond. You must go!
Outstanding. This place is just great. When it comes to authentic Italian, this place is on point from the menu to the presentation. All things served are cooked and prepared relatively simply. Dont expect a giant plate of spaghetti covered in 10 pounds of marinara…expect a realistic portion of fresh pasta with a reasonable amount of marinara in their bolognese. Their mushroom with truffle oil linguine dish is just amazing. In addition, they have some of the best wine in Richmond priced how it should be. I feel many people are used to the Edo Squid type of Italian…huge portions, overwhelming flavors, tons of garlic. While the portions at Enoteca are maybe a tad small at times, nothing touches the authenticity.
My Favorite Restaurant. My husband and I come here all the time. It is a great place to bring another couple and spend time enjoying their wonderful wine collection and great food. The staff is exceptionally friendly and service is perfect. This restaurant is definitely worth the drive to Bellevue.
Great Experience. If you like Itlatian wines you will LOVE this place. Probably the lowest wine markups in Richmond, which means that you can experiment with a couple bottles during your meal. The food is excellent. Many seasonal dishes, but you can’t beat the staples (the pasta and the branzino).
Pretty good meal, only thing is that the calamari could have come with a dipping sauce, maybe a side of marinara or an aioli, all in all good meal, nice service
Outstanding Restaurant. I love this place! The food and service is outstanding! The wines are so good!! The enitre waitstaff are so friendly and helpful! We just accidentally ran into this on our way to another restaurant, so glad we decided to check this out!! We will be back!!
