Never a bad experience!. I’ve had the Shrimp and Crab Alfredo, Cheeseburger, Greek Salad, Crab Dip, Hummus Platter, and Chicken Paremesan (in different visits!) and loved everything. I have yet to find something I don’t like. It’s becoming a tradition to have lunch there and definitely looking forward to trying their brunch!
Middle of the road. Everything I’ve ever tried at Northside is GREAT — fresh and high quality ingredients. The variety is lacking a little, i.e., outside of appetizers, there are only a few salad choices, and then it’s pretty much sandwiches and burgers from there — there are a few entrees, but they aren’t available until after 5:00. Service isn’t great, but it’s not because the staff isn’t wonderful (they are!); they just seem to stay understaffed. Still, well worth the visit, and the food will never disappoint.
Good casual dining. My wife and I eat dinner here a few times a month. We enjoy the casual atmosphere, the dinner specials, and great draft beer selections (there is always something new on tap!). The staff has always been attentive and good spirited, and the food has always been quick and delicious. On a few occasions we have had to wait 15-20 mins during peak hours for a table. We didn’t mind and easily found a drink at the bar and friendly patrons to pass the time.
Great burgers cooked just the way you want. Delicious spinach salad. Large servings and great specials. Outdoor dining. Great service. Love it!
Repeatedly Disappointed. NSB&G is in a great, walkable location so my neighbors go often. Every time I’ve joined them I’ve been disappointed. The service is great but the food is terrible!!! They can’t even get french fries right–they were bathed in salt. The hamburgers are salty as well and cam out well-done although I asked for medium-rare. Once I ordered my breakfast with poached instead of scrambled eggs and only recevied an egg, not the rest of my breakfast. terrible terrible terrible! Now I only go for drinks.
