Mostly Good Food….. Chicken was outstanding. Cole Slaw…the best I have had, even bought some to go; Baked beans…bad; green beans okay; mac and cheese – okay; Corn Bread – Great; Roast Beef-like cardboard and tasteless; Pot Roast- good; Mashed Potatoes – good (a bit salty); Did not try to BBQ (next time). Nice place…family style serving…would be fun for a group. Service was good….
Fantastic. Terrific family-style dining where as you get fried chicken and your choice of another meat, then they also bring you all the traditional sides. Oh yeah, and if you want more, all you have to do is clean your plate!I had the fried chicken and BBQ as my two meats – the fried chicken was really good; crispy and juicy, while the BBQ was only so so.Best Pecan Pie in Richmond.

Great Food. Great family style restaurant – fantastic food! Even the kids ate well. You get a choice of one additional meat to go with the fried chicken. Vegetables included masthed potatoes, green beans, macaroni and cheese, spinach, corn bread and biscuits, cole slaw. We saved room for dessert which was also homemade and tasty.Will definitely be back!
Great, Family-style dining. You sit down with your group and they bring out large portions of good home cooking until you are stuffed! It’s off the beaten track, and well outside of Richmond, but get a group and make the drive- it’s well worth it.
