This is a relatively new place. It’s small but cute and well done. A great local joint for sure. The happy hour beer specials were actually pretty good. $2 for a couple different varieties of good quality beer. I had the Chicken Piccata and although it wasn’t overly presented, it was very good! I am afraid of dry chicken as most places chicken is WAY too dry, but this wasn’t dry at all! Very juicy and the caper sauce was wonderful! I had a baked potato as my side and although it was good, it didn’t come with anything but sour cream and butter. They really need to do more of a loaded baked potato or at least offer some additional toppings. It was decent but could have been better. My husband had the BBQ Pork Platter (North Carolina style) and he enjoyed it. His was presented better and he liked the homemade coleslaw (which is a statement because he hates almost all coleslaw). Although when he asked for BBQ sauce he was offered a wimpy, extremely small portion. They should offer a large squeeze bottle of their sauce at each table. Each of our entrees came with good side salads! Wish the menu was a little bigger but all in all… It was a great place and we highly recommend it and will be back!

An attractive little spot in an under-served area of Chesapeake. I had heard bad things (though mostly in regard to stuff I don’t eat – burgers, etc.), but decided to give it a go regardless. The menu is very heavy on fried items. This is unfortunate because, at least on the night I visited, the oil was filthy and everything was coming out dark and foul. Lucky for me, I was the only person at the table to have avoided ordering anything with that preparation (though I had my share of some friend cheese appetizer). The grilled tuna tacos were great, quite possibly the best fish tacos I’ve had in the area. The waitress was friendly, the food was relatively inexpensive, and my companions didn’t do too much grumbling over their befouled shrimp and such. This is still young restaurant, so hopefully they’ll learn to change the fry oil and iron out any other kinks over time.
