They made a three tiered wedding cake for us. 3 different flavored layers and one was gluten free. Everyone loved the cake. We had none left and many people inquired about the makers of the cake. I would definitely recommend them.Most wedding cakes are pretty but not edible. We were happy with a great tasting pretty cake.
This place is AMAZING!!! They were excited about helping us!! They were great throughout the whole process and when the day came, they came in and set up the cupcakes and I wasn’t even concerned about it and they came out beautifully they worked with me about getting some gluten free options as well. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them!!! They are amazing!!
Best gulten free. I’ve been to several different places and there is no gluten free or dairy free cupcake that even compares incredible taste of yalls cupcakes
Great cupcakes!!!!. I decided to stop by Carolina Cupcakery for my husband’s birthday. We both loved the cupcakes and can’t wait to go back for more. We have tried other places and Carolina Cupcakery is our 2nd choice for cupcakes! The cupcakes were very moist not too sweet but just right! The flavor of the cake was great and the frosting didn’t taste like a bunch sugar with food coloring. There were a variety of flavors can’t wait to try more !!!
In terms of cupcakes in Hampton Roads, you have choices. But there are a few things that make this place stand out: 1- Unique Flavors, like cookie dough! 2- Options for picky eaters & folks with food allergies 3- Choice of mini cupcakes, regular size, or sale cupcakes (I guess maybe from night before, or leftover from catering orders). On top of that they always have polite staff.
I Choose Real Food. I have been to Carolina Cupcakery several times and I have never had a dry cupcake. I have had to travel across this country and have had the opportunity to go to several gourmet cupcake places and, let me tell you, after paying what they charge I have been greatly disappointed every time. Then one Friday evening I was with my daughter and she stopped at Carolina Cupcakery. She stops there just about every Friday evening to get a sweet treat for she and my grandson to end the week. She asked if I wanted one and I said, no, because I was so tired of being so disappointed. Well she kept saying how good they were and that they had a gluten free selection and one day I went in to see what they had and picked up a couple. I have been hooked ever since. My son has a very restrictive diet due to being exposed to black mold during his college days. He must have a real food diet and gluten free. Now he can enjoy dessert with no worries! Crazy 8’s are great! I must say that buying cheaper is not better. You are putting chemicals and dyes that were never intended to be in the human body. They seem to work hard there to provide something real and if I had any criticism it would just be with the chocolate cheesecake. The name is a little misleading as it doesn’t taste like cheesecake to me only a great chocolate cupcake. I am an advocate for getting rid of the chemicals and I have a sincere desire to see us all return back to real food especially after what we have been through with my son. Go with the real food!
Delicious!. LOVE,LOVE,LOVE these cupcakes. Great variety! I also enjoy the minis that way I am able to try lots of different flavors. I have had 2 cakes from Carolina Cupcakery, both have been FANTASTIC!
