Yuck! There is nothing posi…. Yuck!There is nothing positive to be said about this place. We went in (party of 5) for my son’s birthday dinner. We all ordered entrees, mine specifically was the lasagna. It came out 15 minutes prior to anyone else’s in my party and to my surprise it was FREEZING cold! My son had to wait an extra 20 minutes for his slice of cheese pizza; generally I expect the child’s food to be brought out first and all dinners to be ready at the same time. The drinks were pitiful; they served all of us in kids cups and we were not offered any sort of refill; this wouldn’t have bothered me if this was listed on the menus! The ‘inside’ service was an absolute joke. I will not be eating here again.
Very Disappointed. Having just moved back to the area and in search of my go-to pizza delivery I was excited to try this. Very close to me I expected my food to be hot and fresh. Not even close. My pizza was lukewarm at best and the cheese had turned rubbery. Didn’t taste fresh at all- in fact it tasted like it had been sitting for a bit. What a disappointment. Maybe this place is good for a walk-in but certainly not for delivery.
Finally real pizza in Chesapeake. Anyone who doesn’t like this pizza has grown up on the crap they have been calling pizza around here for years. Real Jersey/NY style. Thank you!
Great Pizza. We just moved here a couple months ago and live very close to this Pizza place. We are both from Chicago but LOVE this NY style pizza. I got one for the guys helping us move it and it went so fast I had to go get another one! Prices are great for the amount you get. Staff was also very friendly. We have been back since and will be again!
Best NY Pizza In The Area. I grew up in Upstate NY and was raised on pizza. CDC has amazing NY style pizza. Having been on the west coast for a decade I experienced far different versions of pizza, some were amazing but a different style than the classic CDC Italian style. After ten years I had forgotten what NY style pizza was. The first time I had CDC I actually had a flashback to a childhood pizza memory with my grandfather. I would recommend getting a whole pie; I think its a thin crust pie thing, but when they re-heat a slice it looses all its life and the dough dries out. We don’t live in Chesapeake, so we don’t get out there too much but it’s definitely my top choice for the area.
Sat for ten minutes without getting helped…one guy walked in to pick up after ordering twenty minutes prior and they hadn’t put the pizza in the oven yet. This was a slow sunday night. They only take cash and check too. Not to mention there pizza by the slice had been sitting out longer then the guy could remember when the take out guy asked. By health code there suppose to time stamp those pizzas….that was our quite to leave…won’t return. This place won’t last.
