Amazing! Most creative rolls I’ve had around the world. Shrimp dumplings were great. The December roll was awesome. Definitely coming again!
Know it well. I am a sushi lover. period. ive been to the norfolk location, but the one in chesapeake had fresher fish and better rolls, overall. not eaten at the one in virginia beach yet. i am a regular at this one.a bit pricey…true. but sushi always is. very good variety. always clean. efficient staff.i usually order a love boat for myself..at any place. or as close to a love boat as the restaurant carries.this still remains the best overall…freshness. taste. cost, etc…of all sushi restaurants in hampton roads

Great Sushi – Horrible Plated Food. This is my favorite sushi place ever! They have a wide selection of different sushi rolls to choose from that are not only tasty but VERY colorful, too! My two favorite rolls are the California Dynamite and Halloween. Those two are a feast to your eyes! The inside decorating is pretty good.The only downfall about this place is that it’s just known for their sushi. They do serve warm plated food as well but they use cheap shrimp for it [shrimp terayaki $22] and the food itself isn’t that great. I expected to get huge shrimp that are grilled for that much – instead, I got tiny shrimp you can get at the store for $5. So, if you check this place out, you’ll get your money’s worth if you order sushi instead of cooked meals. Asakusa in Fort Wayne, IN, not only serves exemplary food but sushi as well so I was very disappointed when I found out this restaurant was nothing like that.
My favorite Sushi place in the area! My husband and I are big sushi eaters and are always trying to find a good sushi place…we finally found one. They have a HUGE sushi menu with LOTS of unique specialty rolls along with all the usual rolls and sashimi. They also have a full regular menu, a kids menu and plenty on saki to choose from. Now that we found this place, we can’t stay away!
The Best Place For Starters. If you are trying sushi for the first time…Domo is the place to be. The rolls are fresh tight and presentable. The first time i went out to try sushi i was skeptical about it but Domo reassured me it was as good and fulfilling as any dine in or fast food restaurant. So once again to get good fresh properly made sushi Domo is the place to be. P.S. The best rolls are the volcano and the spider roll.
