Good little restaurant. When you first walk in you’d think it would be a nice place. I got to wear my sweatpants. Good food and good service. I recommend getting something off the fresh catch menu.
This was our first visit but definitely not our last! Our server Kiley told us we would not be disappointed and she was right! I had the Sea Scallops which were cooked to perfection served with sauted spinach over creamy dreamy risotto. My spouse had the French Quarter which was spicy and seasoned to perfection. The combination of shrimp, andouille sausage and chicken tossed with penne pasta and the most amazing cream sauce! Yummy, thanks to our groupon turning us on to another great place.
Eat here if you want your waitress to argue with you and make faces!. We had our first visit using a Groupon. First I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and it tasted like hard lemonade and bad sour mix. The waitress proceeded to tell me how a LIIT should taste….really? I sent it back. We had the Oysters Rock which were a little runny but good and I had the Crab & Corn soup which was very good. A good thing since I couldn’t eat more than two bites of my Tuna Tacos. The tuna was overcooked and spongy and the spice was just weird and not edible. Even my husband, who can usually eat most anything…said it tasted bad. The Salsa was just gross. It looked like tomato sauce and tasted bitter. The waitress ended up taking it off the bill. I am always wary when my waitress is also the bartender because then I know a lot of pre-mixes are used. The cost of cocktails justify a fresh mix. Eat at your own risk…maybe you will get lucky. I noticed there were some bad reviews but usually try to make my own decision. I did notice that the positive reviews were ? reviewers.
Worst breakfast ever.. Toast was cold. Both my friend and I asked for no tomatoes, they loaded both omelets up with tomatoes. The one who wanted tomatoes didn’t get tomatoes. Will not be returning.
Such a nice atmosphere. Had the seafood pasta and a brownie a la mode. Excellent! Service outstanding!!! I highly recommend this restaurant!
DINNER REVIEW. My family and I have eaten here many times since the opening. The food has gotten a lot better over time and the menu keeps changing for the better as well. I just cant get past the owner and the way he speaks to his staff. He is very disrespectful. If it had only happened once I would probably think he was having a bad day but it has now happened on 3 different occasions. I have a hard time supporting a business where the management treats the employees this way especially in front of customer like myself.
We went for Sunday brunch. Service was excellent, my wife had Eggs Benedict and I had French toast. Both were very good. And the coffee was fresh, and a cut above average.
