Ordered the fried combo last weekend. Juicy oysters and clam strips were well prepared; onion rings were crispy and golden…just right. Cole slaw was tasty, if not a tad watery. Overall, great experience!
This place was recommended by a friend. First time coming to eat and we did not know what time they closed. The greeting was I just want to let you know we close at 9pm. The time was 8:50pm and the first impression sucked.
Love the cove. Been to this place over a dozen times. They never have a problem getting customers. No place you go is perfect and may have off nights. I can say I am very pleased with the food. I got there after the wife and the lady up front said are you mr. Cox and took me to my table. I hadn’t said a word. Place was packed and still had good service. They have expanded over the years and still handle the crowds pretty well. Somebody can find fault anywhere you go.
