First off I love this place and it’s service and food is exceptional. I have been going here forever and it’s always a place to get amazing food and service with a smile. I have been reading reviews on here about Sunrise and quite saddens me to read that people would expect food to be more or less free. You can’t beat the prices and to be honest the people complaining about the coffee however it’s always been amazing quality coffee. This is certainly a place to try and if you like and you will unless your a bitter person who wants free food and to be ignored by your servers than you will love !
So So. Reviews were so good for this place we had to go today.It was a small place which was promising. But…..1. We were subjected to some preaching station throughout our breakfast. It was very irritating.2. Food was hit or miss for quality and taste. Grits were good, Omelette was so so. Buckwheat pancakes were awful. Sweet Potato pancakes were ok. Turkey bacon was good. Coffee was ok.3. Service was good and the saving grace.4. Prices were a bit high given #2.Folks may like this place but we won’t be back. Very disappointed given the rave reviews.
I could live off their coffee, sweet potato biscuits, and Filipino sausage. I wish I were a local. I’d be a regular. Much better than Broken Egg.
Dinner. I am a vet and i am injuried and my wife order from you and the meal we got we could not eat. shirmp was well over cooked. chicken was dry, dripping grease, blan and there is not enough water in the ocean to get it down. salads were just nasty and looked like they had been in the frig for way to long. on top of all this when we called the manager was to busy making pizzas to come to the phone. If you want food and you are desperate by all means order from sunrise breakfast shop. if you want a good meal just go down the road to IHOP. Good thing HARDERS was open because that where we went and the food was a whole lot better.
Great for breakfast. Great food and very friendly.
