Unpleasant experience. We have eaten here quite a few times previously, however, my last experience was extremely disappointing and quite frankly a deal breaker. We showed up with a party of 7 for breakfast recently. Food was good, as expected but far from exceptional. However, upon paying for the meal, I realized after leaving the restaurant, that they had added on an 18% gratuity for a party of 5 adults and 2 children. I never saw any warning in the menu, sign on the wall, nor did the waitress or host tell me about this upon receipt of bill or payment of the same. To add insult to injury, I added on a 21% gratuity, not knowing the 18% was already included in the bill. No one said a word, they just smiled and accepted my 39% total gratuity. As they say, my mistake. Unfortunately they have now lost a good tipping customer, received a negative review, and I will tell friends and family that I can no longer recommend this restaurant. The meal left a bad taste in my mouth.
