This is a cool little place. Such a cute idea and the food is amazing. The only downside to Bella Gelato’s is the space; or lack there of. On good weather days there is some seating outside but even that is lacking. Inside the ordering line and waiting for something line collide with the seating booths. Regardless this is a great place you’ll want to visit and enjoy for a sweet treat. I recommend walking to BG’s for your after dinner dessert and coffee. Especially since they do both, affogato (Gelato in coffee). Great staff, very friendly, and super knowledgeable. If you want a lesson on how gelato is made, ask. Don’t know what flavor to get, ask. Outstanding place.
Basically the only thing that could be improved about this place is space. It is so tiny and both seating indoors and outdoors is limited. That doesn’t stop me from going back again and again, however. They’re so great about giving samples of the gelato (made with fresh local milk!), and everything I’ve had is delicious. I particularly recommend the lavender prosecco sorbeto and the chocolate hazelnut gelato. My recent favorite is the candied lemon cardamom gelato, which has this unique sweet tart spicy refreshing quality. They recently had a ghost chili chocolate, which tasted like normal chocolate until the aftertaste kicks your tastebuds! They also do good coffee, including affogato (coffee + gelato), and though I haven’t tried them, the pastries look awesome. The (largely female) staff is unfailingly upbeat and friendly. It’s worth fighting the crush to get in there and get something tasty at a really reasonable price.
