Excellent sushi and excellent service! We asked for recommendations and started with good sized spring rolls and then had a great array of sushi. I would highly recommend this place

Great happy hour. Can’t beat a drink and app for 7 bucks. Great service.
Excellent please whit class, food & good service, $ good for what you get, I love the please the problem is no all the Townes understand the please or they can not pay, $1.00 menus option for them
Very good food and creative drinks…however very expensive if your dining for sushi.
Not the best sushi…. If you’re expecting happy hour roll specials like at sushi restaurants in cities, you’ll be disappointed. Although the drinks are not too bad during happy hour, the sushi is just as expensive – and not great for the price. However, it is pretty swank inside and they had a nice jazz duo playing.
Good concept, poor execution. We went to Beyond for Sunday Brunch as we have seen a lot of advertising for it and brunch options in Harrisonburg are limited. It should have been a sign at 11:20 AM when we arrived with some other guests that the door was still locked. How did none of the staff notice that there weren’t any customers? The menu is appealing and although small, had a number of items we wanted to try. However the execution of the items was a struggle for the kitchen/service staff. We ordered coffee (as it is Sunday morning) and were served a nice cup/saucer/spoon service. We were questioned if we wanted more and the cups are not large so we said yes. The server appeared with another cup/saucer/spoon for each of us. Where was the pot of coffee? We ordered the Crab Benedict and the Lobster Grits with a side of Salmon Hash. The Crab Benedict was barely warm when it arrived and the crab cakes were delicious but tiny. The salmon hash was served hot and was the best item we tasted. The menu indicated that it came with a dill sauce but our hash was served without sauce of any kind. It might have been even better with the sauce? The Lobster Grits were also not hot. The flavor was good but they had not been completely mixed so some of the grits were white and some were pink with lobster. It listed on the menu that it came with a side of sausage, ham, or Canadian bacon. We ordered Sausage that came out after everything else was delivered. Then we were charged for a side of sausage on the bill? Both entrees came with a small fruit cup of 90% strawberries and 2 orange segments. The strawberries were obviously local but were chopped sloppily. Some pieces were too large and soft spots that should have been removed were left in making it a necessity to dig around and carefully examine the fruit before eating it. Our bill for two was $35 before tip without any alcohol. We may try again for dinner as friends have recommended the sushi but we will not waste time or money on Brunch again. We were sorely disappointed.
