BJ’s is your typical tight walled, downtown, college town burger joint. They must have hired a mathematician from the college to arrange the seats around the bar; in the center of the space. Try not to get seated in the back as you will end up having to stand every time someone goes to the bathroom. You’ll also have to mind the kegs stacked inside and you’ll overhear ALL of the kitchen conversations. The servers are kind of aloof but since it’s a college town they’re attractive and flirty. When college is in session this is a packed place and late hours involve some college bar antics. A late night favorite is sitting outside or near the front and yelling at passing cars. All that aside, the food is delicious. These are some good burgers and the slider flight is hard to beat…try them all. If you want a great burger and don’t mind the crowds go anytime, otherwise wait until summer break or go early.
