Get chocolate raspberry cheesecake. You won’t regret it. We were in the Shenandoah Valley region of Va. visiting small to mid-size towns we might want to retire to. Stayed at the Hampton Inn at the bottom of the hill. Walked to O’Neill’s Grille for dinner and had to stop for ice cream on the way back. Ordered the turtle sundae (took two of us two days to finish it!) and chocolate raspberry cheesecake medium waffle cone. The girl scooping the ice cream had already put two huge scoops in the cone when I stopped her and asked if I could have a small instead. She told me it was no problem not to put the third scoop in the cone for a medium. The two scoops had to equal a pint of ice cream! It was the very best I have ever tasted. Can’t wait to make another trip to Harrisonburg to get it again!
Simply the BEST. Bruster’s is simple THE BEST ice cream around anymore. And their Jamaican Me Crazy is the top of the line if you like coconut. I wish they had it on their list every day. But no matter what flavor you pick you’ll be SO happy that Harrisonburg has a Bruster’s.
Excellence pure and simple. Just recently moved in to Harrisonburg and tried Bruster’s Ice Cream for the first time. I was very impressed with the sheer number of available flavors, the friendly service and the serious quality of the ice cream. We paid a little bit for it, but it was worth it. The Raspberry Chocolate Truffle was divine and we will defiantly be back
Favorite dessert. This place is wonderful. It takes forever for me to decide what to get because there are SO MANY CHOICES! usually 25+ choices of FRESH made ice cream each day. Not including all the different sundaes, parfaits, blasts (like mcflurries), and sorbets. Tons tons tons to choose from, and theyre all good. Theyre on the cutting edge with flavors and have so much to choose from. Good prices too for what you get. Definitely worth trying.
We are new to Harrisonburg, but have lived in one of the biggest cities in America. This was probably the best sundae I’ve ever had. Get the peanut butter cup or turtle sundaes. There are almost too many PB cups and pecans in there. Great value!
