Excellent food for an excellent price. Dinner time of baked goat cheese salad, hummus, risotto rice balls with spinach almond pesto, black eyed pea salad with Riesling topped off with lemon lavender cheesecake (out of this world)
What a nice place. My friends and I were staying at Massanutten and wandered into Harrisonburg. We checked out the visitor center, and the nice lady there gave us some suggestions for lunch. Clementines is a lovely place–I’ve never seen a restaurant that had oriental carpets on the floor and southwestern art on the walls!! The service was good and the food was not only good but very reasonable. We went there twice for lunch and weren’t disappointed. Check out their barbeque and their hamburgers. Also check out 10,000 Villages on the same street…nice shop that sells stuff from natives all over the world. Finally, check out the little tea shop that shares the space with the welcome center. Nice desserts and drinks. We got to talking and stayed past closing, but no one said a word! Love Harrisonburg, will definitely go back.
I went to Clementine for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. While the entrees were wonderful, the service was abysmal. The host was particularly rude.
Excellent food. Excellent service. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in awhile. Definitely a must go!

Clementine has good food. They usually have good service. My wife and I were regular weekly customers until our last visit when they wouldn’t serve us because my wife didn’t have two forms of ID. This was at 5 PM on a Tuesday. The bartender was extremely rude and when we asked to speak to the manager we were told the manager was unavailable to talk. We will not be back.
