I’ve been eating at Vito’s for a few years now and it has always been a pleasant experience, plain and simple. The food has always been worth the price, but I keep coming back because of the service; there is such a welcoming atmosphere at Vito’s and the staff treat you like family.

Lots of people love Vito’s, but to me it’s a pretty run-of-the-mill Italian restaurant. My penne alla vodka wasn’t bad, but to be honest I could have made a comparable dish for cheaper at home – and I’m not that great of a cook. The atmosphere was very family friendly, and I saw lots of children having a good time and enjoying their food, which was a plus. I’d say this is a great restaurant for families. I’d go back, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Great food!. Stopped in Harrisonburg on our way from TN to CT. GREAT food, atmosphere, and new location. We ordered the bruschetta- best we’ve had; sweet, fresh tomatoes and basil- not too garlicky. Delicious pizza. By CT standards, this meal was five stars at one star price. Thanks Vito’s Italian Kitchen!

First Visit Success. Great find in a back-from-the-street strip mall across from the JMU practice fields. Young friendly competent servers. Some unique preparations on menu. Wife and I both had La Pasta Di Erina that was perfectly prepared and served piping hot. See menu for description. Excellent garlic knot bread served with tomato dipping sauce while waiting for entrees. Kitchen obviously knows what it is doing!Better than other restaurants tried during previous visits to Harrisonburg. Great place for a meal before or after attending a JMU sporting event, as restaurant is close to venues.

Gluten Free pizza is great. I love the gluten free pizza’s. Now I can be gluten free and still enjoy pizza.
