Worst service and attitude of any restaurant ever eaten at (other than McDonalds). Food is good most of the time, I have to give them that, but service and attitude of wait staff and owners are horrible. Will spend my money elsewhere.

Shame on us!. First time we ate here we ordered a pizza and if you like burnt pizza this is the place for you! When we complained we were told basically we were wrong – this is the way pizza is suppose to be cooked! Fast forward several years later – shame on us – we went again – ordered another pizza. Again, if you like burnt pizza, this is the place. We eat pizza all over the country and this is the only place where we get charcoal crust that they claim is normal! I’m sure other dishes are marvelous but we won’t be going back to try them.

Highly Recommend. Angelas is easily one of the best restaurants in Richmond. I have had the good fortune of traveling the U.S. extensively, and in my travels have eaten very well, both in well-known cities as well as small towns, so from my experience I put Angelas up there with any of them.Chef Michael and his crew put a lot of work and soul behind their offerings. He only uses fine, fresh ingredients, and this shows in the dishes, whether it is Italian, steak, veal, seafood, etc. Pricewise, you may find Angelas is more on the expensive side, but given the size of the portions and quality of the meals it is priced accordingly. There is a reason Angelas is always crowed, even on weekdays. As far as any bad reviews, keep in mind this is a family restaurant, and everyone has their bad days. Id still visit Angelas on any bad day as opposed to many other places on a good day. In my opinion, this adds to the experience.

Issues. Tonight sat by the door and froze our tails off when the doors open/ close. 1. Owners, put a small vent at the bottom of the door so your patrons don’t get BLASTED by wind from others entering and exiting. Or, add glass along the railing so food and patrons are not frozen out!2. Owners, put the tax on the receipt. We know what you are doing by trying to hide it. You want a tip based on food plus tax, when the tip should be based on service not what the local tax is. Shady to say the least.3. Should it take 2 hrs to get through a 1 hour meal? We were late to another event…..4. My wife ordered blackened fish over spinach. It came out over asparagus? 5. Food was very good!!!!!!!minor changes……Mrs. Owner try smiling you always seem irritated by patrons.

Bad experience. So we moved to the area recently and went to the Italian Festival in the summer where we purchased a coupon book good at various Italian places. It was honored everywhere but here where it was loudly pronounced a scam. Since they had gotten the advice of an attorney it was obvious to me they were simply reneging on an agreement they had made. I realize they are trying to make a living but that and the fact that they don’t list prices on the specials menu really put me off. The service was just average for a $$$ kind of place. The food was good but no better than my wife makes.

Best Italian in Richmond. The food is awesome. The best food in Richmond. A family owned business where they care and love what they do. The staff is great and the portions are huge.
