The cash only deal is annoying, but man are these subs heavenly. Get the Italian, you won’t be sorry. Toasted to perfection and full of spice and flavor, it really is one of the best deals in Richmond. Call ahead for cary out.

Best subs in the world. Call ahead to order, because the subs take awhile to make. Not the most sanitary and high class dining area, but doesn’t bother me. Worth the wait… Absolutely delicious.
Bernie’s has the best Italian sub in the world. This sub is hot, cheesy, crunchy, chewy, moist, and spicy. Get a whole Italian sub (with peppers if you like some heat) and a large drink for under $10. Bernie’s a small homey comfortable restaraunt where the staff knows your name and greets you with a smile. Bernie’s is truly a diamond in the rough and if you live within an hour Bernie’s you should go.
