Delish!!. So, like other reviewers I to was referred to Gelati Celesti when I inquired about Gelato and like others was extremely confused/disappointed to find REGULAR ice cream! But some still swear its gelato!? Curious! Anyway, FINALLY I found DeLuca one day driving through GC and have been hooked ever since! If you want REAL gelato this is where you will get it and just like others have said very creative/yummy flavors, like mascarpone (combine it with raspberry, YUMMO as RR would say)!! You can tell the owners have really done their homework (read the ‘about’ section of their website) and take pride in their product! Kudos! I will see you this weekend I’m sure! ; ) wait, I like how we are all so enthusiastic in our reviews of DeLuca we find it necessary to us random capitalized words! LOL
I agree with Lloyd about Gelati Celesti, it really isn’t even gelato, it’s just regular American ice cream in regular American ice cream flavors. If you want actual gelato, DeLuca is the real deal. (And for ice cream, Bev’s in Carytown is also better than Celesti.)
Soooo good!!!! Better than some of the gelato I had in Italy. My friends and I go here weekly.

The Real Thing. Seriously, what is all the hype about Celesti? I’ve had both, and there is truly no comparison. DeLuca way outperforms in the every category, especially creativity. Pesce y grappa (peach and brandy). Guiness (yup, and it’s GOOD), banana Nutella, and the huge assortment of fresh, seasonal fruits – this is no simple cookies and cream joint – although their biscotti y crema is outstanding. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else for gelato or ice cream. Matter of fact, if you’re still reading this, put down your computer/iPod/phone, get in your car, and head towards Gaskins right now.
Run, don’t walk!. The gelato here is amazing! Smooth, creamy, delicious! My personal favorite is the Banana with Nutella, but I haven’t tried any flavor that wasn’t worth another bite!!
Delicious!. My favorites are the NUTELLA Gelato and the MANGO Sorbetto but they have so many great flavors. You really should try them all for yourselves!
