Grilled mahi tacos were very good. You can get them crispy instead of grilled. Have onion guacamole on top. Tasty.
We have eaten here multiple times when we are on a shopping trip. Everything we’ve ordered has been delicious and service is great without fail!
We had been to one in Delaware too and this is a very good place, especially for a chain… The crab cake is very good and a solid place for dinner at the bar
This time got great food and service. Over the past couple years, we’ve had hit or miss experiences at this Firebirds. This visit was a definite hit. We had a very nice, knowledgeable waitress and a delicious meal.We started off with a Cesear Salad with real anchovies. This is one of the few places in Richmond that offers whole anchovies for their Cesear salad, just like the original salad.I had the Blue Cheese Filet Mignon which was very tasty. My husband had a Ribeye Steak, cooked Pittsburgh style (seared). This time Firebirds did a perfect Pittsburgh. My husband thought his steak was great! We enjoyed glasses of Kim Crawford Pinot Noir and Belle Roche Cotes du Rhone wine. We were too full for dessert!
The food is fantastic, the prices are steep, but the real killer is the terrible dining room. The awful acoustics makes the place unbearably loud; you can’t even hear the people at your own table!
Nice atmosphere, great food, dumb hostesses. A friend of mine and I were going to grab a movie about 6 months ago and decided to stop by Short Pump to go to a Sports Memorabilia store and waste some time. We were hungry and so we had a choice between the California Pizza Kitchen and this place. Both are right across from each other. So we chose here because we never heard of it before. We walked in to a room full of nice-looking waitresses who led us to a table with a…guy as our server? I don’t know what was going through their minds. Two guys eating together do not want a guy as their server. We even jokingly complained to our waiter at how awkward this was and he agreed. Anyway, we got down to business and ordered an appetizer of dip and chips, which we devoured immediately. I guess I don’t know how to tell you it tasted because it was gone so soon. I ordered the Smokehouse burger and when it came out, it was wonderful and huge and filling. It had a great grilled taste that is absent from most restaurants. Both of these things coupled together to fill me up pretty well! I would visit any of these chains whenever I see one again.
